The Senior Marketing Associate at The Spectrum Companies is an emerging leader within the company. They will play a critical role in the overall success of Spectrum, focusing on corporate and project marketing initiatives. They are involved heavily in graphic design and have creative liberties within brand guidelines. The Senior Marketing Associate will work alongside the Director of Marketing located in Charlotte to ensure our brand and messaging reflects the mission and values of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graphically design original materials through Adobe software, mainly InDesign.
  • Assist with the design and execution of corporate marketing for all platforms, including the website, advertising, company brochure, and social media.
  • Set the strategy and oversee marketing efforts of the Raleigh team. This includes designing and producing quality collateral, including but not limited to: new development proposals, leasing proposals, equity & debt packages, digital advertising, broker e-blasts, branded gifts, leasing signage, etc.
  • Work with the project teams to deliver a best-in-class marketing materials, which will lead to superior results in our leasing efforts for both office and multifamily.
  • Assist in the creation of new development property marketing launches.
  • Amplifying our existing voice on social media, ensuring messaging is on point at all times.
  • Work with our PR partner, team leads, and our CEO to execute press releases across all markets (currently the Carolinas and Florida).
  • Assist in executing events – broker events, ground breakings, topping out ceremonies, etc.
  • Assisting property management teams with branding tenant events, correspondence, signs, etc.
  • Staying up to date on current trends in marketing and design.
  • Managing outside relationships/vendors including photographers, web developers, etc.
  • Helping to foster and grow the positive Spectrum culture. Opportunities to be part of the CARES team or fun committee.

Key Skills / Traits Needed for the Job

  • A minimum of 5 years in graphic design and portfolio of work. Real estate experience is a plus but not required.
  • Must be highly proficient with Adobe CC including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Creative drive and detail oriented.
  • Dynamic relationship and team skills.
  • Solid follow up skills.
  • Ability to work with several project teams at once.
  • Technologically savvy, including social media.
  • Ability to write original content for social media.
  • Solid time management skills.
  • A leader who takes pride in their work.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Required to work from the corporate office in Charlotte.
  • Some travel required to Raleigh and/or other area offices or cities where Spectrum projects are located. Up to once per month, but not more.
